The difference between the Portfolio Management and the Trade ideas | |
The Dividend Portfolio |
The short-term stock selection focuses on the following five trading days and hence optimizes the reward/risk ratio for this specific time frame. This method is more suited to short-term investors who are very active in the markets.
The Trade Ideas section is updated daily. It includes a list of Buy and a list of Short ideas.
We follow eight types of trades:
In order to trade in the price direction, email alerts are issued as follows:
- For Breakouts or Breakdowns, alerts are displayed when the price breaks through the threshold
- For Long trades on Pullbacks, a pre-alert is issued when the price crosses 0.1% below the threshold price and a confirmed alert is issued when the price consecutively crosses above the threshold price.
- For Short trades on Bounces, a pre-alert is issued when the price crosses 0.1% above the threshold price and a confirmed alert is issued when the price consecutively crosses below the threshold price.
Some details on alerts
- In order to avoid whipsawing signals, there must be at least ten minutes of time lag between a pre-alert and an alert.
- Trade ideas for which a pre-alert has been issued are colored in light Yellow.
- Trade ideas for which a confirmed alert has been issued are colored in Green.
- The Red/Green arrows shown at the right side of the Tables indicate the price direction since the day's open.
- In order to receive email alerts, subscribers need to set their communication options (See the My Profile -About me) section.
