The market continued to work it’s way higher today. The major averages opened higher and after going sideways finished strong. All the major averages closed high in their intraday trading ranges. The COMPQ and the NDX gained .47% and .64% respectively. The SPX rallied .52%. Volume was lower across the board. Leading stocks had a strong session as well. The leaders index gained 2.43% on the day. The index closed high in its trading range on lower but above average volume. This is a new high for the index on a price and a relative strength basis. The market continued to work its way higher today with moderate gains all around. The major averages all made new all time highs today and market internals were positive. The market continues to build on recent gains and is looking good. The charts of the major averages and the leaders index are strong. The chart of the leaders index is particularly strong as it made a new high today. The index has advanced about 30% since the breakout. Some breakouts are struggling, but overall the picture looks positive. The rally is on solid ground. Jerry
