    Thrust

We are busy upgrading the Thrust screens.

For example, you can see below that we are testing the possibility to keep a track of the time of the first Thrust alert and the price at the time of that alert.

We hope to be able to upload the upgrade before the market opens on Monday

    Pascal,

this is awesome, and the thrust is a very useful tool.

Thanks a lot to you and the team, we really appreciate the effort and the new improvements.

    Happy Easter to everyone.

Yes thanks Pascal. It should be very interesting to watch the new tickers as they appear on the list. Any comments on the criteria in place for tickers to remain on the list, would be appreciated. For instance, AAPL has remained on the list for quite sometime. Other tickers seem to drop off fairly quickly. I notice DECK sure had a good run since appearing and remains on the list. It would have made a great initial trade and perhaps with further analysis turn into a longer term hold. Anyway, great work. Thank again, Dave

The list of tickers is re-built every day. If you scroll down the real-time system's main page, you will be able to find how we build these lists.

    http://www.effectivevolume.com/conte...al-time-system

The list of stocks to monitor is built before the market opens. It includes stocks whose Active Boundaries are above the Neutral Boundary and whose Large Effective Ratio is higher than 80 (on a scale between -125 and +125.)

The first condition filters for stocks that are likely to avoid heavy selling pressure due to an increasing supply of shares and the second condition targets stocks that have been under accumulation.

Tickers will drop is they fall out of the selection criteria. This of course does not mean that you need to sell tickers that are not on the list anymore. It means that the best window of opportunity - defined by the AB/LER criteria - to enter a new position is probably gone.

We will test the new long-short thrust page this Monday-Tuesday, before upgrading, because I want to be sure that the thrust detection is working correctly for the Short Thrust list.
