Thread: V Shaped pattern

    V Shaped pattern

    I am really struggling with V Shaped patterns that just occur overnight.

    I have the feeling that I am turning positions too fast, which could damage anyone's ability to look at the big picture.
    I regret when we were able to buy and keep positions for weeks...

    Yes, it was indeed. I took the trade at the time of posting, but scrapped at breakeven by the EOD as the marked looked iffy just before AAPL's earnings.

    IFF could not clear the low of the previous day, so it was difficult to keep the trade and still be able to survive a down gap today if we have one.

    This market is full of traps. Oil is one of its most volatile component and the Fed is not really massaging us nicely anymore. So we are at the mercy of trading algos.
