I question which came up in my mind reading your post tonight was the following:

The IBD method hings on stock picking and on reading the flow of the market correctly. What would happen to your results in you only would use the IBD market timing mechanism and skip the stock picking aspect. And just buy straight out QLD and stay in cash during the marker in correct phase.

Ernst, you can do this very successfully. IBD has recently come out with an ETF system that goes long the Nasd when the Big Picture calls a rally and short when it is in correction. Jerry
