Thread: Weakness abounds.

    Weakness abounds.

I keep an eye on some of the best US quoted multinational companies and there is continued and growing weakness. Take a look at the LEV of the following :-

BRK.B COST DEO DIS GILD HSY IBM KO MMM MSFT PG PM WMT

No signs of institutional buying of these stalwarts.

Worth watching for any signs of life. The market will not go up very far without them.

    Any observations appreciated.

Many of these charts looking very bearish.. heavy, steady LEV selling

    Hi Trev,

Yes, these LEV charts look bearish.. at least for these names.

PS: The most positive thing I can find are the big tech leaders moving higher price-wise (LEV is flatish): PCLN, AMZN, GOOG, LNKD; and IWM leading.. above 50d..

It is also fascinating to observe the difference between large players and small players in these stocks. The LEV is recently down for all these stocks but the SEV/small players (you and me !) are very flat/neutral.

Do the big boys know something we don't or is it all about hedging ?
