    GDX RT

GDX is acting rather positively today.
I found interesting that I could not find DUST shares to short today.
Yesterday and last week, I had no problem.
This occurs when short-term traders are bullish.

Just curious why you would look for DUST to short instead of buying NUGT?

I use DUST shorts for day trades, but if the momentum goes in my direction then I'd keep the position overnight.
Since DUST and NUGT have a decay factor against them, by shorting the instrument, you keep the decay factor at your advantage. The problem is that everybody wants to do that and when there is no share to short, then you know that all the traders are on the same side of the boat. However, the boat will not capsize, because these triple leveraged traders are fast to close their position.
