    Next Week and IWM Score

First, on a personal note, I’ll have another surgery on Monday and should stay at the hospital until Tuesday evening. Nothing to really worry about but you can imagine that I’ve had little time and interest in the markets recently. That’s why I won’t propose you any weekly market briefing for next week.

Instead, I suggest that you read carefully the short Ivan Hoff comments at:
    http://stocktwits50.com/2013/03/09/s...s-50-march-11/

and the excellent VIX and options analysis by Todd Salamone (page 1) and especially Rocky White (page 2) ahead of next Friday’s triple witching expiration:

The IWM correlation score closed last week above its 20 dma and although it is still in a potential whipsaw zone, it is giving a new green light for favoring long setups in small cap stocks. With very little news expected next week, daily POMO buy operations and all indicators confirming a strong uptrend, it is hard to find clues for major headwinds in the short term.
