It was a pretty uneventful day as the major averages closed with slight gains and near the highs of the day. Volume was lower across the board. The Compq closed at the 200dma and the SPX is still stuck between it’s 50dma and 200dma. Leading stocks were up a bit more than the overall market with the leaders index up .64% on higher but still below average volume. We are kind of stuck in neutral now with this rally attempt not really making any progress and not breaking down to end the attempt. Maybe tomorrow’s employment report will get the market moving in one direction or the other. Jerry
