GDX Short signal
Yesterday, the GDX model issued a short signal at around 15:43 or 17 minutes before the close, but that short signal was confirmed - when the signal confidence level crossed above 90% - only at 15:59.
You can see below the two steps of the signal. Although the GDX Model is programmed to wait until the confidence level reaches 90% to issue a confirmation, if we are near the end of the trading day, it might be advised to act slightly quicker. Usually, RT signals come quicker during the trading day. This thus leaves more time for traders to act.
We still need to think of a good e-mail alert strategy between an early and a confirmed signal.
