The market was up slightly most of the day and the major averages closed with small gains. Volume was up a bit on both exchanges but not enough to show much real conviction.Leading stocks were mixed but slightly down as the leaders index declined a very small .10% on lower and about average volume. The index is right on it's 9dma so it is holding up well. We are treading water as the market waits for news out of Europe tomorrow and for the Fed announcement on Thursday. Those events could move the market, but for now the rally seems to be on solid ground. Jerry
