After selling off early the market rallied on news that a new Italian government may have been agreed upon and then sold off into the close, but still finished positive. Volume rose from yesterday's extremely low level but was still well below average. The Nasd Composite closed at the 200dma but the rest of the major averages remain below it. Leading stocks outperformed the overall market with the leaders index rising 1.37% on higher but still well below average volume. The market is still dancing around important resistance and we will have to wait and see which way it breaks. Jerry
