The market started off very strong with all the major averages up over 2% for much of the day before a late sell off cost most of those gains. All the major averages closed in the lower half of their trading ranges while volume was up slightly. Leading stocks were weaker than the overall market with the leaders index up .64% on lower volume. Today would have been a much more positive day if the market had been able to hold on to it's early gains. Jerry
