The market opened lower and was down all day before staging a late rally that took the major averages into positive territory to close at the highs of the day. Volume was lower and below average across the board. News that Italy may get an investment from China seems to have caused the rally. The leaders were up slightly more than the overall market with the leaders index up .97% on light volume. The reversal today was nice but the low volume shows that there was little conviction and thus today's move should be taken with a grain of salt. Jerry
