Big money increasing use of ETFs

Reportedly, use of ETFs by big money is on the rise. If this trend continues, would you expect it to have impact on the accuracy/reliability of the 20DMF signal? Would it make sense to include ETFs (in addition to individual stocks) in the EV analysis from which the 20DMF signal is aggregated?

ETFs are already in use:

- Shorting signal on the 20DMF must be ETF confirmed
- Both the GDX and IWM robots use the activity on their respective ETFs as part of the decision process.

I do not think that changing the fundamental logic of the 20DMF is something I want to do.
However, each new robot will include the corresponding ETF analysis.
