The market rallied all day today and whole it closed off the highs all the major averages closed in the upper half of the days trading range. Volume rose, which is good. It was a solid up day but nothing to exciting. The leaders outperformed with the index rising 1.8% on higher but still below average volume. The index closed just below the 50dma, so it must break above this level with conviction to begin to look like it is recovering. Jerry
