    I try to test how the time of each post is based on. Now is a little past 3 pm US eastern time. Lei

    The time stamps for the site are based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), currently 4 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time in the US.

    From what I see there is no problem. The server actually runs on GMT time, and it is in sync with the 'global clock'.

    The time zone is controlled by what you have selected in the User Control Panel (available via the Settings upper right menu). There, you can set your preferred time zone and Daylight Savings Time (DST) setting. The combination of these two will show time as per your preferences.

    In your settings, you can change your own time zone.
    You can also ask new posts to show first.

    The problem with newest message first is that if a conversation started below, you have to go down to the beginning and then go up.

    Threaded seems better
