Market Comments 7-7-11

The Dow Transports made a new high yesterday. The market seems to be taking the high road for now. Once a leading index makes a new high I expect the rest to follow. As we know we don't have a lot of room for opinions in the market.

The following 15 stocks meet a simple screen EPS rating > 95, RS > 95, Accum/Dist rating =A, IBD Composite rating > 90, Price > $10, Avg Vol > 100K. I run this screen every day. 15 stocks is a large number of stocks to pass this screen, and only exceded a few times since the 2009 bottom in September 2010 thru January 2011.

LULU, BJRI, BPI, CMG, FOSL, GMCR, HLF, LULU, NFLX, PSMT, RBM, TIBX, TSCO, UA, ULTA

Of these 15 stocks all but BPI and RBN have formed late stage bases which I don't find encouraging for a long duration rally.
