If the Robot is long, long XLU (utilities).
If the Robot is short, short XLK (technology).
The difference between XLK and XLP is negligible.
If you have a short position in XLK, probably not worth it switching again.
But for a new position:
If the robot is long, long XLU.
If the robot is short, short XLP.
Because the primary trend seems to be changing, a more aggressive short would be XLE.
Long XLU or
Short XLE (depending on the Robot).
***Note: I had mistakenly posted XLF instead of XLE. The difference between them at the moment is negligible and could reverse, but the actual last position was in XLE. Basically that means that the price momentum has advanced beyond the money flow momentum to such a degree that on a significant downturn energy (which has been very strong for the past few months) would mean revert.
