When the positive divergences turns down and is cancelled, it is betetr to get out of the position.

Yes, it will! Note that the 20DMF is more closely related to the S&P500 than the Russell 2000.
Therefore, it would go short the S&P500.

Note that the market is much down today. Since an AAPL surprise could turn things around, I expect algos to close their short position before the close and push everything up. I do not believe that traders want to be sitting on the wrong position when AAPL publishes its earnings.
