The EV reversal at the end of the day looked as if the big money was treating our sell signal as a buy signal.
At least we were waiting for an after market close signal, but the real time implications are spooky.

I believe that EOD trading is mainly algo based: day trading algos, which had been selling all day long needed to re-buy their positions and those who are position-trading have taken note of the four negative consecutive days with the $SPX sitting at its 50MA and on its ascending trend line. This is enough for algos to bet on a reversal here.
