Last Friday, I covered the short URBN before it reached its stop and I sold the TBT position because of a reversal. URBN still looks like a valid short here, but I will wait until the end of the week.

We start this week with one long and one short position out of a maximum of five positions.

Below are the trade ideas for this Monday. You can see that I am interested in two long and two short ideas. However, since the FOMC announcement has a bullish bias, I am not too interested in opening new shorts. On the other hand, I want to keep a neutral stance. Note that all the long ideas in blue are utilities.

I intend to buy DAL because airlines look very interesting in light of oil's pattern. I will however wait to see what oil does before acting on DAL. DAL is in a stable supply zone and under accumulation.

The second long is the gold miner FNV.

However, I am more interested in shorting TMV. TMV is the triple short Treasuries. This ETF has a fast decay and hence can only be traded on the short side. It is a bet on low interest rates.

The short ideas below are interesting, except for the bullish bias of a FOMC week.
