• Portfolio Management for April 14, 2014

    Monday will probably open another volatile week, bringing tentative reversals and possibly a reversal failure. My investment strategy will be to be short the markets using QID and TZA, but open long individual positions.

    For Monday's trades, this all depends on how the day opens and how the market reacts to the early action.

    We can see below that there are two types of possible long trades:
    - In Yellow are the extremely oversold stocks that show a positive LEV divergence and hence will bounce much harder than the rest of the market, but which need the general market to bounce.
    - In Blue are stocks that show a pull-back that attracts buyers.

    None of the stocks on the short side is interesting. TASR is in fact probably a long trade candidate here, even if it shows up in the short trades section, because some buyers seem to be coming in.
