• Portfolio Management for March 27, 2014

Yesterday, I initiated three new long positions for the Portfolio Management system and I now feel that the decision might have been reckless.

These three stocks are now on a strong support zone, but if that breaks, these trades will look very poor. I did not indicate any stop level for the current three long positions, and that is because I have none. If their respective support levels break, then these three stocks are in a no-man's land. So, I will consider each situation on an individual basis, but please do not forget that I also have a SDS long position that is larger than usual, so I feel somewhat protected.

We can see that the EV pattern still looks OK, except for PKG.

In my defense, when the 20DMF is very negative, then it means that the selling is so widespread that EV patterns for individual stocks do not matter much unless they show accumulation, as does ABG, shown below.

The list for the day is below. I would only be interested in a long ABG trade for today, but I feel that three long positions in a weak market is already a "situation" that I'll need to manage.
