• Portfolio Management for March 26, 2014

Yesterday was another "act now think later" type of trading day. I closed both the IQNT long and the RIG short positions. In hindsight these were good moves, as RIG bounced to 40.63 while IQNT pulled back down to 14.05 after reaching 14.51.

The list for today is below. I will be mostly interested in opening long positions as the short ideas do not look too tempting in a market that might continue to bounce.

IQNT still looks interesting on the long side, but we would need EV to turn positive.

XEC (on a pull-back to the ascending trend line) and PKG (on a pull-back to the break-out gap level) are also interesting on the long side, while BTU could be a good short trade.

I will also try to buy some oversold Biotech and Prototyping stocks that I wrote about in the Comment of the Day, although these ideas are not part of the current stock selection.
