• Portfolio Management for March 13, 2014

Yesterday was good for day trading as some former leaders bounced back from oversold levels.
I traded TSL, P and AWAY, but exited TSL early and the two other trades when they reached resistance.

The majority of the stocks in the weekly list were stopped out at the -5% level. This is an indication of a possible wider sentiment change in the market. This is also a reminder to buy in the buy zone - which is what we are doing in the Portfolio Management - and not at the open - which is what the Stock Selection system is doing. The stock selection will rotate at 9:40 today.

For today, since most leading stocks are still oversold, there are many buying opportunities.

For example, among the Weekly list above, BIDU, SSTK and SPWR still look buyable here.

BIDU is pulling back in an interesting neutral zone.

After breaking out, SSTK has now filled the gap and could be interesting for a bounce.

We can see that the stock is just at its lower boundary. This means that if it breaks below, the uptrend will be broken.

AER, a former leader that I traded some days ago, is also pulling back after break-outs. The best entry is around 40, which is the NB.

Below is the list for today (which does not include the three ideas shown above.)
Looking at only six potential long trades will make our life easier.
Even though I do not show short trades, I intend to hedge most long positions with SDS, if I keep these longs overnight.
