Two aspects require consideration when entering new long positions: Entry price and Earnings date.
Below are a few interesting stocks among the long candidates. Others are also good, but extended or too close to earnings. WYNN, for example, releases earnings on October 21 (Monday) and hence is too risky to warrant opening a long position here.
Regarding the entry price, it is best to wait until the price falls back into the buy zone. At least one or two will fall into that zone before the end of the day.
