It was another quiet session today with all the major averages trading in very tight ranges. The COMPQ was strongest with a gain of .26% while the SPX was lower by .01%. Volume was lower across the board and well below average, as you would expect on the day before Thanksgiving. Leading stocks generally performed a bit better than the overall market with the leaders index rallying .57% on higher but still below average volume. The index closed in about the middle of it’s intraday trading range and the relative strength line of the index is moving above it’s 50dma. The FFTY also outperformed by gaining .68%. Little is likely to happen on Friday as it will be an early close and many players will not be there. I will be one of them. There will be no update on Friday, they will resume on Monday.
