Hi Pascal,

would you consider to create additional version of The Breakout Calculator with Stooq (http://stooq.com) data provider instead of Yahoo?

Stooq service has a huge quotes database not only for US market but also for Japan, Germany,
Poland, Hungary and some Macroeconomy quotes. See http://stooq.com/db/h/

The data is provided almost in the same way as with Yahoo, through CSV format files. It is free too.

For example to download the latest data for BWLD just click the link:
http://stooq.com/q/d/l/?s=bwld.us&i=d&d1=20130101&d2=20151019

There are some small differences:
1. The data are already divident/split/resplit adjusted
2. The data are in reversed order (the oldest are the first one)

You can customize the range and options of the data here and see what the link is created:
http://stooq.com/q/d/?s=bwld.us

What do you think?

Regards

Jarek

Jarek,

This is difficult for me because I do not want to maintain a software that I will not use.
