Watch lists were updated yesterday. The action of the major indices might be telling a different story than leading stocks. To the most part buying leading stocks has not been working well. BABA is an exception. Mostly I see stocks that breakout or surge in price are knocked back. There are too many stocks like AKRX and GPRO that get knocked back severely. Thus I am not looking at my own watch lists as low risk opportunities. Because some shorts are working I decided to populate the short list and monitor going forward. We are entering the time of year where most stocks melt upward so I don't have conviction in the short list. There are times when sitting on the sidelines is the right thing to do.
