As you can see below, if you take a short term view of TNA (5DMA), you can see that the price is well below its envelope, which occurs when there is capitulation.
On the longer term (20D) envelope, we can see that we are just at the bottom.
It is not where you usually safely short. It is when a bounce would occur.
