I keep a trading log which is just a college ruled spiral bound notebook. I record all my trades here as well as market observations. In the left margin I note all of the high growth stocks breaking down below the 50-day moving average. I record all of the high growth stocks that break out in the right margin. The left margin is quite full and almost nothing recorded in the right margin. This is evidence that institutions are exiting some pretty important leading stocks such as BWLD, LEN and KORS and are not bidding up leading stocks. Most of the stocks that pop up are stalling.
The action of leading stocks needs to perk up or we are going to see a down side move.
