I understand (and see) that GDX looks strong today.
Gold is also up, but on a larger scale, we are still in a trading range and we need to cross over the $1400 level to attract new buy orders.
If we see that move in gold, GDX will outperform gold by a wide margin.
As of now, it looks positive, but yesterday, it also looked positive before the reversal.
