The market had a pretty quiet day today with the major averages having tight trading ranges and finishing in the upper half of their trading ranges. The closing prices were between a .03% loss on the NYA and a .13% gain on the SPY. Volume was lower across the board. Leading stocks did a bit worse than the overall market with the leaders index off .52% on slightly higher and above average volume. The index continues to pull back after it’s recent advance and is now sitting on it’s 9dma. Both the major averages and quality stocks are consolidating recent gains and look to be holding up for now. Jerry
