The market started off slow today but gathered steam near the close with the major averages closing at the highs of the day. They all made new highs for the move. Volume was mixed, slightly lower on the NYSE and a bit higher on the Nasd. Leading stocks were generally flat on the session with the leaders index down .27% on lower and well below average volume. The index is acting well as it consolidates recent gains. Both quality stocks and the overall market are acting in a constructive manor and with the low distribution count the rally is on solid ground. Jerry
