Little change

Yesterday, today and tomorrow little change in the markets is expected until Jackson Hole on Thursday. I am wondering if there a way to take financial advantage? Are there instruments available to take advantage of such quite trading times (i.e., options, VIX)? We have seen many times like these in the past and most have been quiet until the expected time.
