The market was a little lower at the open then rallied the rest of the day to close with solid gains. The major averages rose between .45% and .97% and rallied late to finish at the highs of the day. Volume was lower across the board. Leading stocks performed about in line with the major averages as the leaders index rose .80% on very low volume. The market is coming back a bit after, but we will have to wait and see if this rally attempt has any legs or will lead to the next down leg in a larger decline. I will be away next week so the updates will resume when I return. Jerry
