The market traded in a pretty narrow range today. The major averages continued their recent pattern of strong closes and finished at their highs of the day with small gains. Volume was higher across the board. Leading stocks were about flat on the day as the leaders index closed unchanged on higher and above average volume. This masked some strength in leading stocks as two stocks in the index, NTGR and PNRA, took pretty big hits. The market continues to consolidate recent gains and the rally appears to be intact. Jerry
