A quick update before the holiday begins. It was a solid rally session today. The major averages opened higher and worked their way up the rest of the session. All the major averages closed at their intraday trading highs and there were new highs almost across the board in the major and secondary averages. The Nasd averages led the way with the COMPQ higher by .66% and the SPX gaining .37%. Volume was higher on both exchanges, just what you want to see when the averages are making new highs. Leading stocks lagged a bit today with the leaders index up by .14% and closing high in its intraday trading range. The index is just short of making a new high. Today’s action was positive and it looks like the market is in rally mode. Jerry
